Or maybe you are like J. D. Salinger? All the “stuff” that went along with his writing wasn’t worth it, but he continued to write - just kept it to himself.

I used to write on a word processor . When eventually I saved it into Word very often
it was coherent in places just about readable if one wrote it. The best advice I ever read was in a little book about 60 years old. It said never forget the nominative of the sentence.
