- Go to Krishna makes Arjuna to Sink to the Throes of Depression
Re: Aba brother
Presta Sis.Exactly as you say. Arjuna as mediator offered for peace to prevail. Duryodhana rejected. And when all efforts proved a naught, War was inevitable.

Re: Yes, FSI
In depression you feel miserable as if you shouldn't exist, and everything becomes hopeless. Your ego too, has left you. Then the bouncing back for some and suicidal thoughts for others. It's how one has the resilience or not. Depends. Arjuna had, and Krishna knew.

Aba brother
Finally, I could come here to read this post. I seem to recall some of what happens next but do need my mind refreshed. A horrid conflict, and different for a warrior perhaps. The lesson I take is that there is a time to stand and face your beliefs - and your fears. I prefer peace to conflict and in families sometimes one must choose one's battles carefully - or better yet, choose to not battle. But this is of a far different level. Thank you, and I wait for the next installment.

I read this yesterday and again today. it puzzles me somewhat. I don't seem to be a popular figure with some of my family. I find it best to keep my distance rather than to get upset and to fight.

Re: C C T
There are certain laws that govern the ethics of war. As we will see later that the entire turn of events this law is broken .... everything is fair in love and war.

Sadly one does have to have commitment and most wars do not involve the destruction of one's kin. There is a lesson in this.
