Ok, you got my attention
I can emphasize a lot with the cave (wo)man described by you, but is the mentioned motivation for leaving the world alltogether and becoming a cave dweller that does not convince me. What if each of us is a unique prototype living on this virtual reality called Earth, were we are given a predestination and we are allowed to make our own destiny within this predestination, and according to our choices based on free will we end up either discarded as unworthy fuel for its flame, or, on the contrary, evolve our way to incarnation in the REAL REALITY, and the cave is the last level of the virtual reality test?
