They are scary, but necessary. It is good that yours had a healthy result.
My hubby and I both had colonoscopies ten years ago. He had polyps removed. I was fine. We are trying to get in again this year along with our wellness check and blood work, but the COVID-19 has stalled procedures. I know that I will not be so lucky this time because of health issues that have occured over the past five years, but the healthcare system has come a long way.

That same year I had to have 3 of those things. They discovered a growth on my colon. I was then told that they wanted to remove 6 inches of my colon because of a cancerous tumor. That was 3 days before Christmas.
They put me under, when I woke up, I asked what happened. 4 Doctors were standing around my bed. They then told me that the tumor was gone. The Sunday before the sceduled surgery my Church held a prayer service for me. Who knows.
I had to have a Colonostophy every 6 months for and last year thety switched it to 2 years.
All I can say is..."God is Good...God is Great"!
