Self-worth is a great topic, one that many people have different ideas about. It is a question we must think about.

If I go by our policies, we are worth more dead than alive.

Different agencies have set different values on a human life. The Environmental Protection Agency set the value of a life at $9.1 million. The Food and Drug Administration, on the other hand, came up with a value of $7.9 million and finally, the Transportation Department said it was around $6 million. My hubby recieve's hazard pay due to working at a steel mill that gives huge insurance payouts to employees for accidental death, disability, and dismemberment, but we also have life insurance that will benefit our children instead of us. Alive, we fall into the average 24% tax bracket.
