Maryland did the same thing. We're staying open under Automotive Services and Maintenance. Most of the businesses that were still open are finding ways that they can lable themselves essential.

Grocery stores and gas stations are counted as essential
here in Illinois where all non-essential businesses have had to close their doors - meaning cafes have to do curbside or delivery only. I don't know if car washes are considered essential.

When people can go outside again they will be quick to line up for a good car wash, I think. Also, you do have the teaching profession as a back up.

Re: It is a busy business here because most are coin operated...
Here we have the issue of salted roads from the winter mess. Getting the leftover debris that salt leaves on cars is vital in eliminating rust.

You're in a very specific industry....People are going to be prioritizing things and you might be closer to the bottom of the list...
