I don't recall of any town cleanup in mine. There have been little ones organized. I know right now there is a conservative organization that goes into Baltimore once a month and clean up.

Adopt a highway is fine...we should be ticketing anyone throwing out the trash on the roadsides.

I prefer the method to force owners to maintain their property and fine them. Why should I be pulled into doing the work of others?

Yes. Around our neck of the woods, we have annual cleanups and "adopt a highway." Outside of that, I am happy to hear that plastic bags will soon be in our rear view mirror.
