Perhaps he'll come across a rare coin for his collection.
I once worked in the city clerk's office, and part of our job was to sort and wrap the coins collected from parking meters. They no longer have meters here, so that's one thing less to keep track of. I once found a 1942 deutchmark - about the size of a US dime.
