snowstorms have been arriving here, power was out and there is more precipitation forecast. I guess it is really Winter.

I believe this snowstorm is global and coming in bursts.
Yes, it's pretty, but if I had my druthers, I'd druther have boring 60 degrees and partly cloudy. Lots of icy rain due to come in this neck of the woods, and I hate to think about the mess on the interstates.
