Yes there are always problems, you do seem to have changeable weather
It keeps raining here on and off we still have dahlias to get rid of they hang wet and look miserable. Birds are not very hungry I keep temping them with suet pellets . I did see a couple of thrushes in the holly tree and a pigeon or two having a look around, but very quiet on the bird front.

It's been so many years since I saw that movie. Watching it one
summer evening in an air conditioned theater, I felt a chill as the wind blew across the snow-covered scenes. Your post reminded me of the haunting lovely theme music. Not a fan of icy roads - winter chills - ice storms. An inch of snow or so for kids at Christmas, and that's enough. Any more than that and my Grinchy side takes over.
