Yes so many things have changed....phones, cameras, TV screens....i find it easier to click photos with a phone camera during my travels :)

I have a tiny little camera that I can put pictures into my laptop. What I don't miss about bulky camera's is that i was always expected to carry the thing in my bag on Holidays. no wonder I used to get tired out.

Yes a long way from the disposable. I don't think they will come back.
Years ago the railways to many smaller towns were ripped up .There is talk now of renewing those tracks. I think it will be more difficult than just that.
Many of the old tracks have been over built with new projects.
