Re:
I'm doing well. Each joint replacement has been a bit different. This time I feel like my leg is longer than the other. Driving me nuts trying to learn to walk correctly for the first time in my life. Doc said it may be a hair longer but that once alll the swelling and such is gone, it should feel like my old hip... but without pain. I would say to anyone who is thinking about it, do it sooner rather than later and plan ahead to be able to sit on your tush for several months and heal. Doc said a full year of taking things easy and slow... and it has prover to be about that.

Re:
The hips were easier to recover from but the knees really made the biggest difference but so hard. Worth it, but hard. Good luck to your dad. ;)

Hi there, Geri. I'm glad you are on the mend. What a time you've had. My friend has had her knees and shoulder replaced. It's a process. Hips, OMG! Glad you're doing well.

It's nice to see you back Geri. My father has gotten two hip replacements and recently got a knee replaced. He is due to get the other knee replaced next year. The hip replacements have been a godsend, and I expect the knee replacements to be the same.

Has it been long enough to show excellent results yet?
