He was very good at taking care of it and it is healing quickly now and looking pretty good.  He keeps wondering where he got it though.  It could have been his house I guess but he also has a project house that he continues to work on and at that house a store house for his tools and all the stuff he works with, and at the house where they live a store house for wood and tiles and bags of cement and all such stuff, and then his place where he has all his tools set up and his work bench, and under that his his garage for his two lawn mowers and tiller and stuff like that.  He figures spiders could be hiding out in any of those places.  He is just hoping it didn't bite him while he was sleeping in his bed at night.  LOL

Re:

My mother, as a child, contracted that equine encephalitis, and though she survived, it left her with a life-long brain ailment that they never quite called epilepsy, but acted like it, and she died of it when she was 29, and I was 3.

My boys do that, also. Plus, which, they prank me in little ways, just

to make sure I'm paying attention. Sometimes I'm tempted to give them some really bass-ackwards ideas just for the fun of it, but if I did that's the one thing they'd do - and who knows how far wrong that could take things...

Our news has been giving stats on deaths from a new kind of mosquito-borne illness, called EEE - some kind of equine encephalitis... flu like symptoms a week later, brain fever, death.

TAPS - They never listen, or almost never listen, to Moms.

Not mine, not my brother's, nor my sister's offspring. Nor probably anyone else's.

I used vinegar on sunburn for my girls when they were small. It draws out the burn. Baking soda and water for rashes at times. I hope, hope, hope he does better. My daughter is the same way. Keeps getting bites on her legs/ankles. Said they were tingling up her leg and itchy; after a week they aren't better and I hope they don't become a problem. Her answer was there is a new mosquito in the area called an ankle mosquito? I don't even know why type of bites she has.
