Re: Re: Adnohr

We're allowed to worry, and worry we will. Then we take a step back and remember that little word that has such immense meaning - 'faith'.

Seconds do add up. Thankfully, Larry did take the time and has given many the gift of life.

Re: Adnohr

I'm on here reading everyone because I can't sleep and I don't want to watch t.v. and I can't keep my mind on a book.  Tonight I started worrying about Laurie and their business.  It is a small business with only 12 employees, with Laurie the President, and Larry the one who kept everyone working.  He was THE MAN.  Of course I'm worrying what will happen now with him gone.

TAPS - I can only send you hugs. I have just read both posts and words fail me. Maybe whatever you were meant for when you were born has not been completed yet so, yes, you are still here. And selfish or not, I am so very glad you are still here. My sympathies for you all and my admiration for Larry's contribution to others is heartfelt.

Every second counts. We all learn that eventually, I think. I am so sorry for your family and the sudden loss of a loved one. We as humans are all so fragile.

However, there is a small comfort in knowing someone now has hope. My sister is a recipient.

It boggles the mind to think on these things.

In our family we're all organ donors - my kids' dad received a liver transplant in 1993, and lived until mid-1992, 19-1/2 years. At one point he was the longest surviving transplant recipient in that hospital's program. Our family was so grateful to the donor there's just no way to express it completely.
