Sooner or later, what goes around comes around. It is inevitable. Those aged who feel the most invisible were probably the ones who most ignored others when they were in their prime.

I enjoy being invisible most of the time. Do not want to be a burden to anyone for I have lived life my way for so long...sometimes though, it would be nice to get a phone call from a son or a grandchild.

It seems that the negative sort of invisibility we all have to deal with at some point manifests itself in different forms. I found it incredibly frustrating when I was a kid because I felt my views weren't being taken into account.
