I've never really identified with an animal. I like animals, some more than others, but I can't say I've related to one.

Okay, we'll start with the eagle, eagle eyes on my kids; then move to the she-wolf, again with my kids' protection; a wet rat when soaked by the rain; a bunny rabbit sometimes when I smile (and I don't have buck teeth; a mouse about most things; a cat because I step quietly; a mule because I can be stubborn; also an ass at times when I can't keep my mouth shut; an ape because of my limited intellectual sophistication. There's more but I'll quit. Never been a gazelle, dog, horse or a cougar though, I don't think.
