No, as children my parents told us many stories, we were encouraged to ask questions. Different scenarios were always discussed and the basic elements of critical thinking and reasoning with an underlying lesson were presented to us. We read a lot, played games, mental games, in the "what if" style; as teens we sibs competed with each other testing out who had the best hypothetical theories for different endings of the different shows that were on television. It was all laughter and fun for us and we just grew up like that. Things pop into one's mind and one rolls with it. If I think of a key phrase I may want to use later, I jot it down. That's it.
