Oh, wow! I hadn't read this poem before and your post on it was so intriguing that I had to seek the poem in its entirety online. Pope, I recall, is one of your faves, has he's written a marvelous piece here, as you have also in your telling about it to us. The wit, humor, intelllect, metaphor and innuendo all come together beautifully. And, as always, you have enhanced our knoledge base in a delightful manner. Thank you very much. Really enjoyable.
