Just as you describe that the weather was the best yesterday, in India, in the desert state that I live, the temperatures are hovering at 45* C. I too, having come to Chicago, am enjoying the unbelievable weather that you folks enjoy here. Always cool, well, that’s according to me. Good to know Sir Wiley enjoyed meeting his family members.

It is nice to keep up with the ordinary little pursuits. I hope there is medication available now that eases distressing thoughts. At least it would grant comfort to all parties.

It will be interesting to see what perennials survive ,sometimes very wet conditions are worse than dry frosty weather.

It's nice to know the gardening season is upon us.

Wonderful that he enjoyed the visit of family. It freaks people out when I tell them that I feel Bird around so often. Be careful picking up those rocks, BFF. Are you planning on re-hiring the ladies who helped with the garden last year? Maybe have them move the rocks for you?

Just here keeping up with you and Wiley, and wishing you the best of anything and everything.  Haven't been up to writing lately, or much of anything else.  The sun was shining brightly today all day and it was such a blessing.

I saw something online today about flowers to plant that repel

bugs, like mosquitoes, ants, etc.  Lavender, marigolds, and also the herbs basil and mint are the ones I remember. Ants don't like mint, but neither do squirrels, so that one may not appeal to you - but if you get mint it needs to go in a container, because it spreads and will invade territory around it. I imagine CCT knows all those flowers & plants that work as natural remedies for bugs. It's nice that Wiley Coyote was able to see his loved ones, even if it was a kind of dream. Those kinds of visitations feel like blessings to me.
