First, they change the name from Global Warming to Climate Change. Since they couldn't prove there's "consistent" rise in the total earthly temperature.
They changed it to make it more palatable. Climate change is how it's always been. Ice ages, warm periods that melt the ice back and ocean levels rise and fall. This has happened thousands of times before mankind has walked upon the earth.
Just one method to control the lives of those inhabiting earth. More money for the government to spend and force industries to raise the prices of good and services.
