I was in a position once where I had to fire someone, and
it was not fun. I liked her and felt empathy toward her, but she was creating a bit of chaos among the other workers and was careless with the filing we relied on to keep up with our tenants. I worked at the housing office on campus at the time. She went on to a job in the drama dept. where she fit right in.
