The fries reminded me that we had crummy high school food. Usually I went off campus but on certain days they had Poor Boys, and as picky of an eater as I was/am, I liked them! It seems ludicrous now, but I'd eat those things. I couldn't even identify what food it was in the sandwich. So yeah, I can imagine the fries were good.
