Whenever I read about what your class members write about, I wonder what I might wright about if I were in your class. You never know what someone else might say that brings something to mind.

Well we heard that time enough Ban the Bomb not that anyone would have taken notice after the first one. I always remember once on tele., this couple spent a week in the recommended shelter. it was in a pit in the garden covered with tins and soil. Supposed to be safe from radiation. A week later the volunteers sniffed the fresh air, I don't know what happened to the toilet bucket. 'How was it an inspector asked. 'Well said the husband next time I'll just sit on top of the shelter.

I'm surprised she was unfamiliar with the word ban. It's a word that is fairly common.
