The only way it happens around here is if they're in your family......BC/BS insurance asked if they could inspect my house for safety issues, I refused. I asked them what they would be looking for...and I would check it out myself.
It's bad enough now that Doctors ask you if you own a gun.....

It seems to me we have always had visits by health professionals when a new baby arrives home. My daughter will be 50 soon, and it was happenng when she was born. It can help a new mother. I do believe that I would be suspicious if parents DID refuse.
