It's tough to find a good deal these days...With time, we gain perspective and realize who wand what we missed.

Re:

Yes everything costs these days the trouble is one usually only gets one flower from a first year bulb. Thank you for your observation . This keyboard I am using is large keys I like it because I am a one fingered typist, but i have to hit it so hard for a response.

Re: There's a long, wide valley in western Washington, miles long.

Probably the ideal place to grow flowers Pat. We get so many late ground frosts.

There was a day I could, and did run a mile.   That was a long time ago.
I love tulips in the spring.

I love bulb flowers. Or rather, flowers from bulbs. Lots of money though for a lot of bulbs. Clever how you slid in the words you would not say in your poem. How true, we do at times not realize the good times for what they are at the time.

There's a long, wide valley in western Washington, miles long.

There's a river flowing through it, and every spring it comes abloom with tulips and daffodils - people drive out to the tulip fields and just breathe. I'm having trouble recalling the name of that valley - but there are a number of flower producers there. Many varieties, including roses, gladiolias, iris, and also apples.
