Well it is a good thing such organizations exist and of course volunteers to work the system. I did notice one of the supermarkets has a crate for unwanted
tinned food food and other dried products. It used to horrify me once a woman would sort through a skip which was share by a greengrocer wholesaler and a cut glass unit.
I can see her now shaking the tired lettuce, before pushing it into her bag.

Hopefully, things did work out for her.
Talking with people on the phone for business reasons is quite an art I have learned from the car washing. One often does need to do a lot of explaining.
