This has to stop, somehow. Our poor children. The schools should make certain no one can enter with a weapon, or rather, no one can enter without being checked for weapons. Wand 'em all perhaps.

And the slug in the AR15 is just a bit larger than a 22.....a shotgun does major damade, i don't know if he used slugs in the shotgun.

still no real solutions, if not solutions at least minds coming together to really address this problem.  all media is a joke when it comes to reporting.

I don't know that a change in the gun laws would have had any

effect on this particular incident - the kid took his dad's legal guns. I'm guessing he got along okay with his folks and they didn't pay much attention to what he was posting online.  Given the kinds of things guys in high school say as they begin to question authority, I might have thought it was just ordinary blowing off steam. Too bad he didn't have a converstion with someone and understand the consequences he'd face if he acted on his impulses. I have to say IMHO there is no less lethal gun.
