Our embassy was supposed to be in Jerusalem since 1995.
In 1995, the United States Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act, which required, subject to conditions, that its embassy be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
It took 23 years to elect a president that had the cajones obey the law.

My wish for Jerusalem is the various nations involved declare
it a neutral zone that people of all religious persuasions could share and protect. Seems to me the core belief of the various religions is that God loves people and peace is their ultimate goal; if so, this is as good a place to prove it. Staying tuned.
BTW if DJT has accomplished something good for us all, more power to him.
