Not only is the media selective, but often reports incorrectly. Last night there was the police chase coverage of a suspect, something which I would and may devote a little post about, but the channel I watched showed the speed constantly, and it was an average of about 60-65 mph, dropping eventually to 27 mph before a PIT maneuver was employed. Today on another channel, it was reported the speeds were in excess of 90 mph.

It is amazing what the media chooses to cover and not cover.

Re: Ahhhh, Corbin...

Excellent response.... My intended point is not with the actions or methodology per se,  but the selective nature of the media's coverage.

Ahhhh, Corbin...

Domestic violence takes many lives, and leaves many more filled with fear and misery. There's simply not enough paper to print all the accounts of brute force and intimidation, let alone quadruple murder, that happen in this country, with and without guns. Still, it would be nearly impossible for a kid with a ball bat to take out 30 of his classmates and teachers, whereas having access to a semi-automatic rifle would enable it.
