Yes we all have a soft spot for dogs. Sadly they do not live long enough, I cannot stand the pain of losing one if one has a choice . Oh! yes tea time invites are there for the unwary.

It seems many people treat doggies better than they treat family,
which is fine for the pups. Too bad we can't all learn the art of just being happy to be around one another and accepting unconditionally.

cct, it seems most of my dogs have chosen me, but one time i chose one because i got puppy sighs, that was the one that broke my heart the most when i lost him. Funny how something so good hurts the most.

It's such fun to get a new doggie. I miss having one. They are a joy. And do ladies invite gentlemen to tea there? That is something I hadn't ever thought about. Two very pleasant poems. Thank you.
