My youngest sister was a a change-of-life bonus child.  Not only that, she changed everyone's life in the family.  I was 15 when she was born and I pretty much became her adopted mother when I wasn't in school.  My older sister was horrified when Mom became preg.  She was 17, had a boyfriend who became her husband later.  She screamed at Mom, "What will everyone think!".

Pat

I am outraged that the man would do that to any child! Although once I remember being a little upset at a ton of neighborhood kids who were shrieking and always playing in my yard, instead of their own (I think they eventually broke a window), while my baby girl was trying to sleep. But that man could have been taken to court for child abuse, I think. Good story.

People have long memories. this brings back a memory to me when my kids, very young, picked their mummy a bunch of flowers from the neighbors garden.
