It makes one leery to eat meat when that sort of story breaks...That is a reason why I do not eat hot dogs at all.

What a cute raccoon.

Sausage at its best is one of those things you don't want to

know too much about how it's made. I seem to remember there being a horse meat market in Seattle - down at the famous waterfront market, in the lower level. I think the meat is probably healthy enough, but we think of them as beautiful friends and companions, like cats or dogs and not as food. Road kill can be edible, but you can't trust the sanitation around its gathering and prep.

I wish I had a few of those critters round here. The birds seem very picky. Perhaps there are still berries around and I think folk usually stock up bird tables for a start and then get a bit hit and miss as they realize the birds are attracted to the cat food pellets which i put in plastic bottles with a hole at the bottom ,well not underneath of course. The birds appear to like the sport of flying up and taking a pellet. Of course I only use fish and veg.

Kabu

I'm sure the creatures like the treats. But that tin of soup... Yuck. Funny, I opened one last week that had all this yellow foamy stuff on top, and, no, I didn't eat it.Take care, sweet lady.
