I am sorry....... I did not realize you had been gone, but now I realize what you have been going through, treatment of cancer. I recently put my 91-year old mother in a nursing home, with less health problems than yours, and all she can do is complain about everything...... for hours.
You are far above that, and I especially like this writing of yours:
"..... stand when we have inborn love. For continuing to be alive, in some form or the other because there is a reason to do so - barely seen or not at all sometimes, though always remembered.
But when it's there, it is a force like none other, this love...
in the movement of legs swinging up out of bed despite the miseries, legs having their places to go and things to do....."
My mother has wanted to die for the last 4 years, and she has not appreciated anything the famliy has done for her.
So, even in your crisis, you are far above her, and I salute you for your amazing bravery and wisdom.

I would break out the kerosene lamps or flashlights and use the bbq pit if I had that kind of bill!

I wondered and I expect others did, if you felt too poorly to blog. I do miss your creative poems. Goodness radioactive oatmeal sounds horrible but one has take the medicine unfortunately.
