The only kind of car wash I have gone to is where the do everything. They DO have the self-serve here though, and one must pay for vacuuming.

The vacums are 75 cents for 3 minutes here I live.

I don't use them - they don't get Bennie's hairs that stick to the carpet. So I use my own hand-held, and only occasionally. I have long since accepted the inevitable...

it is a pity there used to be a car wash in Sydney, no several of them where you sat and drnk coffee while they cleaned your car inside and out. it went through a car wash system but they dried it odff and cleaned the windows properly and vacuumed.
I loved that, yes it was expensive, but it was also a treat not a chore.
