Re: Dear Aba Bro

They were visiting, speaking of their trip. As the day wore on, my mind drifted - to Italy. Thank you, it's a slice-of-life, so to speak. Thanks, Aba, very much.

Dear big sis, Presta

Down memory lane the poem, anong with the pick-up, glides through smoothly and deftly. Very interesting, that you should be choosing a subject, the kind not many would attempt, poetically. Good!

Re:Nautikos

Thanks, Naut. A true story, more or less? Ancient memories would be interesting; genetically possible, I wonder?

Re: FSI

I agree, Italy is enticing, as are the Medici. You should go to Italy sometime. Savanarola may have meant well, but to me, he wasn't all there. And the Bonfire of the Vanities was a sad crime, imho.

RP

An interesting poem in which impressions of the moment evoke ancient memories...

Italy sounds like such a wonderful place. The dreamy scene that you have painted with your words has me wanting to go there all the more.

I remember learning about the Medicis in seventh grade history. I found them to be very fascinating. I also found Savanarola, who temporarily ovethrew them, to be interesting as well.
