Ah yes - that is why I live in the sticks...and quite high up at that! Lots of people will be swimming before my doorstep gets flooded!

I don't hate Toronto Naut  but then maybe that is because I am a new Canadian and haven't yet learned all the important things one should feel as a Canadian...I mean I do understand because if you live outside of Melbourne in Australia you really loathe the city.

 Q   Why do we call Melbourne Mexico in Sydney

 A   Because they live South of the border.

Reminds me on a smaller scale trout and carp swimming up the roads last year as they escaped from the fishing lakes. The large carp are quite valuable and some have names.

The Monks used to keep carp in large ponds. Minute  by this experience of course.

That's a lot of water!   Are carp edible?  I don't ever remember having any.
