I wish our deer were like that but I am afraid come deer season they get shot at too often so know that humans are not to be trusted.

Well you still might find a hat in a secondhand shop. I wear a big Australian hat it saves putting sun cream on my ears. I hope you have a ladder and I hope your scent does not encourage wilder beasts.
