Yes,  perhaps Shaq just wanted to have a little innocent fun with us infidels,  but I doubt it.  I think that he considers himself infallible,  like all narcissists do,  especially those who identify themselves as Muslim,  but it is a universal fault,  perhaps the core fault of humanity.......
They can do no wrong,  even when they have an incredibly stupid idea.  Then,  when they discover their monumental mistake,  they begin to cover it up,  lying to us and lying to themselves,  in the process.  It reminds me of the cute but asinine song by Cyndi Lauper,  "Girls Just Want To Have Fun",  which topped the charts in the 80's.  NO,  girls want a great deal more than fun.......  like Shaq,  they want to have their crazy,  stupid ideas control everyone around them.  They use their charm,  sex,  etc.  to dominate us.  I am trying to separate myself from all such people,  but it is very hard,  because they might be the vast majority of people on this planet.......

I guess he just wants to be 'controversial' or have some 'fun', LOL - I would find it hard to believe he really thinks the Earth is flat. I suspect that holds true for his Muslim business as well, although all around he appears to be a rather confused character...

I did not know that Shaq is a flat-earther...I once got to see him wrestle at a WrestleMania.

Yes,  thanks,  I had a good chuckle over it too,  but it was also disturbing.

Thanks for your comment.  If Shaq was being metaphorical,  he has yet to make his point.  I think it is more a general rejection of his education,  which he might regard as false.  He refuted the discovery of America by Columbus, saying that Columbus found people here,  so of course he didn't discover America.  Well,  yes he did,  for the mainstream civilization of Europe.  That is the "discovery" that we are talking about.  I hate it when people distort the context of what is being taught,  but that is becoming the norm now.  Especially with younger people.
There is a general rebellion now against  "accepted"  knowledge,  as if the scientists and schools have been trying to deceive us for generations.  Check out the Global Targeting blog by Joanofrance over in Religion and Spirituality.  That is a good example.

Your pic shows a sun and moon revolving around a pancake Earth.  I wonder what they think is on the underside of the pancake,  another Earth we cannot get to?  And why haven't we found the edges.......  arrrgh,  I can't believe I am even speculating about this!  And you are right,  ancient civilizations built pyramids and other huge stone structures we probably could not build today,  and they knew the earth was round.

Are we sure he's not speaking metaphorically?  Or trying to start controversy for attention?   I mean, if it's flat, why don't ships "fall off" when they reach the end?
I'm open to discussion on nearly anything... but this one has too high a "DUH" factor for me.

This is what they mean, I know and you know it is ridiculous but remember even though the ancients knew the World was round, in the middle ages people were burned at the stake for saying so.
