wow that was a long winding blog to get to the bottom... :)
Probably the most annoying thing I've seen shoppers do is eat food in the grocery store without buying it.

Nothing comes to mind. If one is really old, I am just glad for them that they made it into the store!

I don't think begrudging thanks will go very far! LOL! And I wrote about dandelions today in my blog! I have never seen anything unusual while shopping! But I will say that around Christmas shoppers that are unusual in appearance seem to come out of the woodwork so to speak! sam
