Thinking as a woman, I believe she thought that you would ask her out, got tired of the constant cht that was going no where that she could tell.
Following your male intuition can really let you down when you are actually dealing with one of my sex. I like Annicita's idea of just meeting as a friend for a coffee. Very low key.

Don't know FS . I would like to see the mother first, if you don't like the parents a problem can arise. This sounds cruel but how sound are most marriages these days.
In the old days one usually married someone who was local and it seemed to work moderately well. A bit different today. Good Luck.

You should have asked her out...maybe go for a walk on the trail or meet at a coffee shop...she probably thought you weren't interested....next time
