I will keep your Grandson in my prayers as well dear Taps. At least in Kuwait when they are on leave and stuff they should be safer.

What a darling Phil is. Another man child may have been so upset not to get his favorite appetizer but your Grandson is such a sweetheart; although Grandma is possibly not quite up to being dragged by the hand as she once was.

Phil loves his food I remember he would look in your fridge, Yes it is a worry about the the young lads being moved to hostile places, One thing when one is young if feels different and I am sure they are treated wisely, not as there were in the previous wars.

I love those stringy things too, Lol! I bet it was fun to watch Phil

Then the sobering news...My thoughts and prayers for safety for all...

I was all happy about the cheese strings and thinking what fun,

and then I saw that your grandson will soon be deployed into the hellish regions, and I had to catch my breath. My Air Force grandson Matt just went over there a couple weeks ago - something to do with air traffic control and radar ops - so in my mind I'm holding your hand and we're sending our most powerful grandmother vibes out to protect them all.

I'm trying to picture that scene at Applebee's - though I hardly dare, LOL...You know of course that I wish your Grandson all the best! But I do not think they should be deployed there in the first place - it's just part of the monumental policy mess we've witnessed for years now...

The cheese must have been a fun experience, and tasty. I hope grandson(s) are safe. Bless him/them, and all of our personnel over there, well, anywhere! My nephew was in the service and flew that entire area, and the world, during a very unstable time, so I understand that feeling a little.
