Isn't it strange? I too feel something that has at least an admixture of guilt if I don't 'produce' - even though many of my productions aren't among the most popular, to say the least, LOL...And about that knife business - I've used a cleaver to do virtually all my chopping for years - it makes it much easier. It doesn't need to be a very heavy one - I'm sure there's one that would suit you! Give it a try - you can always return it, I'm sure...

This post is one with which I can so identify also. Even down to getting the knife out of the squash. I'll bet that soup was delicious. I have put whole squash in the micro to soften it up a bit so I could cut it. Many of us are on info overload, causing us to mentally shut down for a bit, I think. Glad to see your post; no note from Mom needed! LOL!
