Pat

I thought I had left a comment about how these sessions of yours also seem to have therapeutic value, but I must have pressed the wrong button...

Well that is good then Pat, we all have to cling on here for our sanity.

You all were able to write openly and honestly about serious occurrences remembered in your lives; afterwards, you all went out for lunch together... Now, this is what I call a good day!

Re: CCT

No, dear friend, I'm not saying goodbye for awhile - just adding the daily 1700 words to my agenda for 30 days...

Big Sis and I dodged the polio epidemic. Probably because we lived on a farm and hardly ever went to the city before the life saving inoculation. When we were amongst people mother sewed little pockets on a ribbon for us to wear around our necks and we had to sniff the camphor balls in the pocket. That would keep us safe from Polio according to Mother. Bless her heart.

Re: Pat

So you are saying goodbye for a while. If you do I am sure we all wish you the very best.

I think you definitely help folk to come to terms with life, not many could do that.

Every time I read about one of your writing sessions I wish I could be one of your students/members.  I used to go to a quilting bee once a week for social enjoyment and this sounds much more me than it did.  I couldn't get used to using a thimble.

P.S. I've done some work on The Janitor's Secretary

and included a bit of background - boring narrative...  It is part of my early NaNoWriMo
project, which is to write my autobiography. I've been doing bits of my story in the
weekly sessions at The Center, and I think it's time to spend a month (30 days and
50,000 words) in what I'm calling extraNaNo... Have a great day, Blogit Family!
