A very good comment Ciel. Of course we as a race are not really civilized. If we survive perhaps in 500 years we will have learned what you really desire.

Excellent. Barbarism as you describe it reminds me of a totally stupid joke where 'Us" the innocent people take off in a lite plane to cross mountains...we are told to be careful of running into the "others" for they are not "us" The "Others" are bad.
Naturally the plain crashes and the "us" people start walking and of course they are tested in every horrible way possible; wild animals, falling rocks, spiders, and snakes and on & on. Finally they stagger into a small village and ask please for help...only to be told "We are the others."
I guess I have been thinking of this because of the ludicrous mess this election thing has turned into.
