Its a beautiful tribute to Dylan's Blowing in the wind - one of the most inspiring and awakening songs. Just loved reading it.

Re: Nautikos

Thank you, Naut! I like that suggestion... I had originally written an "answer" lyric to the song, but couldn't post it because I didn't want to infringe on copyright issues.

Re: TAPS

Oh, please do. And thank you. The tune to Blowin' in the Wind was present in my mind while the words were written.

Re: UKUSA

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it. Music will reach to another portion of our brain and stimulate memories. Music enjoyed from one's youth is used therapeutically for Ahlzheimer's patients and restores cognition for some for a moment, at least. To answer your question, no one can do it all!

RP

An excellent variation on a theme by Dylan. Composers often write variations on other composer's work - poets should do the same more often...

Well done.  I must read it again.

Well-said Poetess! My responses (to all) are FAITH responses as I remind me

(or myself) of how to deal with life. So, I kept reading this fine poem and saying ... God loves us so much, He made it easy to cope with losses, winds, the unknown ... with faith in His goodness. IT will work out, if we do NOT give up hope. Many things are "blowin' in the wind" but even a rolling stone stopped long enough to get famous, help others express the SOUL OF THE TIMES, and offer revolutionary words & tolls for a long, long time here ... on earth. It all comes down to: Do I do it all; or trust God to do it?" Sounds lazy ... but what little wisdom I gained is counterintuively:IT IS DONE BY JESUS; JUST BELIEVE. Why did a nostalgic poem lead me thus? I'm crazy SHALOM

Yes it could be a song RP. I know you would love to sing. Alas we cannot do everything.

You could probably be a song writer though.

One can tell that the speaker has experienced quite the journey.

So true. The road we choose to walk can make all the difference.

Re: Aba

Sometimes we try so hard to walk the road of our choice, but somehow we are led to others. And sometimes it takes many roads to find the one we need to walk, dear Aba. When I say something is close to my heart, indeed, it has a special meaning, as this topic must for you. Be well.
