Racism is mainly a matter of ignorance and stupidity. We all came out of Africa, some earlier (the 'white' ones, who turned 'white' for all kinds of environmental reasons and became an isolated breeding population) and some later (the 'black' ones, most of whom were hauled out of there by force as slaves.) Even slavery was not a matter of racism so much as one of culture and economics...

And the history of walls is interesting as well. The wall that separated East Germany from the West was built to keep people in, not out! The wall separating much of Israel from the surrounding areas is designed to check the infiltration of Muslim killers, who act mainly on cultural grounds, not racial ones...

France built a wall to keep the Germans out (the Maginot Line) which didn't work - and it wasn't because of 'race', but 'culture'...

Even the famous Great Wall of China was mainly built for cultural/economical reasons rather than those of 'race'...

In short: the building of walls has always had a basis more in cultural/economic reasons that 'racist', and that hold true today as well. Unless we find good cultural and economic reasons against that wall (which won't be anything like the Berlin Wall anyway), it may well be built; I don't think the 'racism' argument holds much water, but it's a nice and simple one, LOL. It reminds me of being accused of 'racism' when I write about Islamonaziism...

Some people cannot live comfortably without walls.  I wouldn't care to live that way.

Well one can't help noticing some races appear to look more European  than they once did. Especially the young women. It can't just be clothes, although they do change appearances ultimately.

Darling Pat, party politics aside in your country, I have no patience at all with racism. I love to people watch, and I am sure it is fine to notice things about people. I am blonde, you have beautiful brown curls I have blue eyes you have the darkest deepest Johny Depp eyes. I am white you are brown or black or Asian or whatever. But as you say we all bleed. We are all humans. Some are nicer than others that's all; nothing to do with skin.
