A bear around is...

Well, a bear living in the neighborhood... I guess it may be better than a dead lawyer.

Just kidding.

But I sure hope the trees got away without hitting your place at all; your nice garden and you house...

And yeah, I sure hope "Yogi" may live in peace in your "neighborhood".

I stayed at a house where the guy fed a 500 pound cub love.

One has to also think of tree roots near a house..My brother had a fir tree removed and ground up £200 whuch I thought was reasonable as a skip to take rubbish away is £170; Archie would do it for nothing if he could have the wood. Of course one has to make sure a contractor has liability insurance one does not want a tree across the roof.

Wow! That's a high bid to me! Wires and trees and bears and neighbors; lots to think about. I hope you can get a better bid, although somebody wanted $1500 US to remove one (1) palm tree here. I don't think soooo! It is huge but still... Love the bear pic, but hope he stays out of your area.

I hope you can find a more reasonable price, that sounds like quite

a high bid -- but of course I haven't seen the trees. Being in the tree removal business is profitable around here - we're on the edge of "tornado alley" and get a lot of severe storms every spring and fall -- and lately summer time, too.

Trees near powerlines have often been a problem after storms. So far, things have good this year. BGE, our local electric company, has done a good job keeping them trimmed.

It's great to have nice neighbors!

Can be hell if they're not, lol. I like the idea of the bear living his life unimpeded by our world. Wow, that sounds like a big number for what you are wanting; Joe was right unfortunately. Hope you can find someone much more reasonable, Dear Friends.
