I would say your contribution was hardly "puny!" To me, Rosie the Riveters were part of the beginning of those who were to become most of the women in the Western world today.

Very interesting to me because I was born back then and from the day Dad lost his job at the Ford Plant in Detroit to long after I was born, my Mom & Dad had a very hard time of it throughout the Depression and for years after.

I do think that Rosie the Riveter started modern rumblings that gradually grew from what their daughters heard at home from Mum who sighed and remembered holding her own pay check, who went on to encourage her daughter to stay in school to go tocollege and University and there she met other young women with the same thoughts instilled into them and the Women's movement blossomed.
