my entire yard is mess but now that is cooling down maybe I can do something with it, but I gave up on plants a few years ago

Well, really! I don't think it's nice of Wiley taking a picture of you curled up under your blanket with just your ears sticking out...

Remember dear Ladies glow. I recently bought an electric strimmer. I think it will be a pleasure to use,but I am not going out in the sun to try it out . I just looked out of the window and Archie is pulling up handfuls of grass and stinging nettles he says it is so untidy everywhere. He is a bit ancient sometimes.

Kabu, I so like your descriptions of tending the garden. This has been a new crop, a newly-acquired passion for me.

I have seen a few landscapers whose lawnmowing methods are to cut everything regardless of whether or not it is a garden plant. They are pretty lethal with those lawnmowers.

The shower is the reward for all the hard work.

Do take it easy in that heat! It can sneak up on you. Rest up and stay as cool as possible. I'll bet your gardens are beautifully tended. I should like a taste of an English garden here. Soon, hopefully.
