Yes they are quite real, not likable only the outsider. Perhaps he will make something of life.

An excellent scene. I really wanted to box the ears of those young punks. What the girls don't understand that life with a bad boy eventually becomes a living hell on a minimum wage, probably theirs, waitressing in some run down greasy spoon.

You do these scenes so well that my mind always thinks of someone in real life who could be a character. This time it is my Son #1. He started smoking with his buddies at age 14 (behind the church) and at age 55 is still smoking. It is getting him. Twelve years ago he was diagnosed with emphysema and told that if he didn't quit he would be dead in five years. He is breathing heavier all the time. I don't want to even imagine what his lungs look like, or his circulation.

Great scene - looks like you were hanging out with the guys a lot, LOL...But butts don't sink outa sight - they float for a long time! I know from experience...
